The location of Pantheon Villas is without a doubt the very best on the island, the car journey to reach the accommodation is pretty hair raising as you are literally on the edge of a cliff over looking the caldera with only one other hotel a few 100 yards along the path.

We received a warm welcome from the lovely Antonia and were delighted with our storey villa with private pool which was built in the traditional manner with pretty shuttered windows. The jacuzzi pool was small but perfectly adequate to splash around in and we had a lovely garden terrace with plenty of space to lounge around. There was a Vitara Jeep included in the price which enabled us to venture out every day.

The main pool area was very pretty and quiet and mainly for those who did not have a private pool but it was open to everybody. No bagging sunbeds with a towel every morning, there was enough for everyone! Breakfast was served in a lovely restaurant overlooking the sea, such a lovely view. Snacks were available during the day and dinner was available from 7pm onwards.

It was probably not the ideal location for us as we have two children aged 14 and 11 and the only facilities within walking distance were a snack bar with hit and miss opening hours (mostly miss!) and a taverna which was mostly deserted, we ventured there one evening so that my husband could have a few drinks, it was not the best meal we had on the island but perfectly acceptable. Personally I would say Pantheon is suited to couples seeking seclusion, privacy and a total chill out.

Great Sunset View, Great people and staff, lovely hotel restaraunt
Would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Santorini.

Hotel needs to offer island packages from others also expect the one that they are attached too.
